Herb Butters

Herb Butter#1

To make herb butter simply let the butter soften to room temperature:

1 stick of softened Butter
1 tbs of each Basil, Parsley, Cilantro, and oregano
1 ½ tbs of garlic salt

Mix together well, store in a plastic container in the refrigerator until ready to use.


Seafood Butter (Lobster)

1 stick of softened Butter or margarine
1 tsp of minced garlic
1tsp of finely chopped fresh parsley

Mix together and place in a ceramic bowl and microwave for 20 seconds until melted. Use with Lobster tails or shrimp.


Fruit Butter #1:

1 stick of butter softened
1 tsp of cinnamon
1tablespoon of applesauce
1 tsp of pumpkin spice

Mix together in a plastic container and chill for 1 hour.

Goes good with any fruity breads or pumpkin bread.


Fruit Butter#2:

1stick of softened butter
½ cup of softened cream cheese
1 tsp of orange marmalade
1 tsp of orange extract

Mix together and put into a plastic container, chill for 20 minutes. Spread on spice cake and fruit breads.
